I would feel very weird about a 41 year old Ochoa in net in 2026, and for all we know, it could be accompanied by mid and late 30s Moreno and HH.
I think let’s see how this cooks first. I don’t see that many compelling cases from the youngsters at the moment, and of course they deserve opportunities to make important conclusions, but that will depend on the new coaching staff. The new coaching staff could potentially cross out Ochoa completely. If he’s playing at a top level by 2026, he will continue to be an option I think.
